Day to End
As the day progresses time slowly turns
Anymore just waiting for the day to end
Not wanting to awake and face the day once more
But knowing I have to keep moving, keep going
Not able to give up, not able to let go
Though the want tries to consume me I resist
I cast it off and keep on going
Knowing that if I give up everything I have done
Everyone I have touched, it would all be worthless
So I continue down the path, however hard
Knowing that in the end I will see
All the sadness, the happiness, the easy, the hard
It was all worth it in the end
Because in the end things will work out
It will just take some endurance to see it through
